States. The population was 1,429 at the 2000 census. It is named for
the Scottish
village of Bannockburn.

residing in the village. The population

an average density of 49.5/km² (128.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the
village was 87.54% White,

American, 0.07% Native
American, 5.11% Asian,
0.07% Pacific
Islander, 1.68% from other
races, and 2.17% from two or more races. Hispanic
or Latino
of any race were 3.50% of the population.
There were 250 households out of which 40.8% had children under the
age of 18 living with them, 84.0% were married
couples living together, 3.6% had a female householder with no
husband present, and 10.8% were non-families. 7.2% of all households
were made up of individuals and 2.4% had someone living alone who was 65
years of age or older. The average household size was 2.96 and the
average family size was 3.11.
In the village the population was spread out with 14.6% under the age
of 18, 46.7% from 18 to 24, 16.0% from 25 to 44, 16.4% from 45 to 64,
and 6.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 22 years.

18 and over, there were 101.0 males.
